Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Veridian Insurance collects through our quote and contact forms, how we use and share it with licensed insurance professionals, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Overview

Veridian Insurance (“Veridian,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website as an insurance quote request and referral service. We are not an insurance company, insurer, or underwriter. We do not sell, bind, or issue insurance policies. Instead, we collect the information you choose to provide and connect you with licensed insurance professionals, agencies, or providers who may be able to offer coverage that fits your needs.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using this website or submitting a quote request or contact form, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you complete our quote questionnaire or contact form, we collect the details you enter, which may include your first and last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, preferred contact method, the type of coverage you are interested in (auto or life), and coverage-related answers such as vehicle information, current insurance status, driving history, date of birth, coverage amount, tobacco use, and general health information you choose to share. We also collect any message or question you send us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our analytics and advertising partners may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, links clicked, and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

We do not knowingly collect payment card details or Social Security numbers through this website. Please do not submit sensitive information that we do not request.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: (a) process and evaluate your quote request; (b) match you with licensed insurance professionals, agencies, or providers relevant to your stated needs and location; (c) contact you about your request by phone, text message, or email; (d) respond to your questions and provide customer support; (e) operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and our services; (f) measure the performance of our marketing and advertising campaigns; and (g) comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests.

We do not use the health, age, or coverage information you submit to make decisions about insurance eligibility or pricing. Those decisions are made solely by the insurance companies and licensed professionals you may be connected with.

4. How We Share Your Information

Insurance partners. Because Veridian Insurance is a quote request and referral service, the primary purpose of collecting your information is to share it with one or more licensed insurance agents, agencies, brokers, carriers, or marketing partners so they can contact you about coverage options. By submitting a quote request, you consent to this sharing.

Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, database and cloud storage, form processing, email delivery, analytics, and advertising measurement. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms & Conditions; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Veridian Insurance, our users, or others.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing purposes outside of the insurance referral process described in this policy.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly, remember your progress through the quote questionnaire, understand how visitors use the site, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This includes the Meta Pixel, which may record page views and form submissions so we can measure and optimize advertising campaigns.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers allow you to block or delete them. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site function. You can also adjust advertising preferences through the settings offered by the relevant advertising platforms and through industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative opt-out pages.

Because industry standards for “Do Not Track” browser signals are not consistent, our website does not currently respond to them.

6. Communications and Consent to Be Contacted

When you submit a quote request, you expressly consent to be contacted by Veridian Insurance and by one or more licensed insurance professionals or providers at the phone number, email address, and preferred contact method you provide. This may include calls, text messages, or emails, and may involve automated technology. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product.

Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message, or ask a caller to place you on their internal do-not-call list. Please note that once your information has been shared with an insurance partner, you may also need to contact that partner directly to stop their communications.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you submit, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), access controls on our database, and row-level security rules that restrict who can read stored submissions. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please notify us promptly if you believe your information has been compromised.

8. Data Retention

We retain quote requests and contact form submissions for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including operating our referral service, resolving disputes, and complying with legal, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or take steps to de-identify it.

9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; request a copy of your information in a portable format; opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws.

To make a request, email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request” and enough detail for us to locate your records. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

10. Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Websites

This website may contain links to websites operated by insurance carriers, agencies, or other third parties. We do not control those websites, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site or partner before providing information to it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.

13. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, contact Veridian Insurance at [email protected]. We aim to respond to all privacy inquiries promptly.
